On Thursday July 17, 2025, INTA Session: A Smoother Sailing Ahead of Going Global, which is hosted by the International Trademark Association (INTA) and organized by NTD Intellectual Property Attorneys, is held in Beijing.

The event, which attracts over 100 participants from governmental agencies, business community, industrial guilds, law firms and media circles, features discussion over the opportunities and challenges of Chinese enterprises going global, as well as best practice and strategies thereof.
As part of the session, INTA releases a second installment of the Know Before You Go report series. The ceremony is officiated by Etienne Sanz de Acedo, INTA CEO.

This set of 30 jurisdiction-specific guides, drafted in Mandarin specifically for Chinese brand owners, are designed to equip Chinese brand owners with the essential knowledge and actionable strategies to protect their IPs abroad and navigate the complexities of international market, covering the main areas of IP prosecution, enforcement, and strategies of IP protection. The first set of 14 reports focused on the US, the European Union, and Southeast Asia, while this new installment consists of 16 jurisdiction-specific guides targeting emerging markets in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.
HE Wei, Partner of Wanhuida Intellectual Property is one of the contributing authors. His contribution focuses on selecting target countries, conducting trademark clearance search, choosing ways of registration to help Chinese companies mapping and navigating the complex trademark landscape in Africa. Wei speaks on “Trademark Strategy for Chinese Companies Expanding to the African Jurisdiction”.
