On June 12 -14, 2026, the 2026 AIPPI China-Japan-Korea Trilateral Meeting, is convened in Guilin, Guangxi Province.
The meeting brings together members of AIPPI China, AIPPI Japan and AIPPI Korea to discuss frontier and hot-button issues including the complex challenges artificial intelligence posing to existing IP frameworks, overseas IP filing strategy, divisional applications and double patenting, as well as developments of IP regimes.
The attendees are welcomed by Long Chuanhong, President, AIPPI China, Yuzuru OKABE, President, AIPPI Japan, Seong Tahk AHN, President, AIPPI Korea, and Lorenza FERRARI HOFER, AIPPI President.
In the ensuing sessions, Wang Rui, Partner, Wanhuida Intellectual Property moderates Session IV themed “Updates on IP System in Each Jurisdiction”. Panelists provide updates on the latest developments in IP regimes across China, Japan, and Korea and share critical insights into recent legislative reforms, significant judicial rulings, and key administrative and procedural changes within each jurisdiction, offering actionable knowledge to help practitioners and businesses navigate the evolving IP landscape, anticipate challenges, and make informed strategic decision.
