The list aims to provide guidance to foreign corporations and organisations in their vetting process of Chinese vendors of trademark legal services.

The list is the result of a statistical and systematic assessment of the trademark agencies recorded with the Trademark Office of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, analysing official figures by utilizing data models encompassing over a dozen parameters including trademark application numbers filed for foreign-related parties, trademark opposition cases and trademark review and adjudication cases handled for foreign-related parties, among others. These parameters serve as a frame of reference in identifying the winning organisations that help their clients navigate the complex legal and commercial landscape.
